Malta Blue Lagoon

Malta Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon, white sand and crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean

March 24, 2017

The Blue Lagoon is located in Comino and is like a picture taken out of a postcard with its light blue crystal clear waters and white sandy sea bottom. The uniquely beautiful Blue Lagoon has two small sandy beaches on each side of the bay, the rest of the bay is surrounded by rock.

The Blue Lagoon in Malta is prized for its shallow waters and is a very popular place with tourists and locals alike. Due to the lagoon’s incredible waters, colourful fish and even several caves to explore, snorkelling is the obvious choice here.

Just one look at the crystal clear waters in the Blue Lagoon makes you feel like you are in another continent and this magnificent and beautiful bay is highly recommended as a stop on your holiday in Malta.

Getting to the Blue Lagoon:

Hornblower Cruises departs from the Bugibba Jetty Monday to Saturday from April to November at 10.30 and returns at 17.30. Rated Malta's number 1 tour on TripAdvisor this is a must do cruise while in Malta.
